"As an international architect for 35 years and a musician with a passion for jazz, I consider these genres to be two sides of the creative coin.

Building on the notions of three dimensional forms and improvised musical structures, I strive to bring the same discerning eye, respect for the integrity of materials and a rhythmic sense to my collection.

I’ve dared to push the boundaries by reinterpreting neckwear design and embracing the bold use of the selvage as a narrative element.

Producing my ties and scarves in limited quantities allows me to keep the offerings fresh and the style ownership personal."

We live for the feeling of the complete individuality you feel when you get your hands on one of our amazing pieces.   We started Portenzo in my basement with a few hand tools and a burning desire to stand apart. We set out to make the ordinary into the outstanding & make unique pieces that anyone would be proud to call their own."
